An NGO with a difference
The quality of education in the country is depleting year after year. Education industry has been commercialized beyond anyone’s understanding and it is difficult to solve this puzzle of low attendance, low quality of teaching, high cost of education and mediocre results. Quality education is restricted to a select few, the underprivileged have no choice but to attend government schools. The environment and the quality of education in government schools need substantial amount of improvement. With an aim to eliminate inequality in education and to impart quality education to the underprivileged, Sitare Foundation is an NGO in India that works with underprivileged children.
The NGO gives an opportunity to the children to learn from expert faculty by being a part of the private schools. Sitare Foundation is an education NGO that has partnered with private schools affiliated with CBSE. It runs in four cities currently and has already changed the lives of more than 250 children. They work with underprivileged children and select those minds that show the hunger to learn and the potential to make the most of this opportunity. They offer free learning to the children and give them an opportunity to change their life. When the children attend school, they change the life of their entire family. Many children have the potential to learn but do not have the resources for the same. Sitare Foundation teaches them to dream and to learn to make their dreams come true.
